The relationship of the mother, Virginia King Guynes,
and the daughter, Demi Moore, was rocky at the best of times, stealthing from difficult and unhappy childhood.
Both of them became alcoholics. The pair started to share Hollywood flat in 1980.
After that Demi Moore went through a recovery program
and she emerged clean after that. However, her mother failed to do so and she was smashed
by a wagon at the marriage of Demi Moore with Willis while she was drunk. Her mother said about
her that "the more famous she becomes, the bossier she becomes".
Moreover, Demi Moore said about her mother that "I had a very young mother.
But I know her but I know she tried to do the best she could and that in the mix of it all -
and she was nutty, trust me - she really loved me. It wasn't always the kind of love
I wanted but that doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't what I needed".
